FUN HALLOWEEN!!!!

projectIcon
We had lots of fun trick or treating!!  Ended up with way to much candy!!!  lol!!  Ashton’s middle name is Knighton so he thought it would be so fun to go as a Knight!!  I loved it!!   His dad made him his Jousting stick and he thought that was the neatest thing in the world!!  Of course he loves the movie Knights Tale!!!  Love that boy!!
August and September I had the Wonderful opportunity to go and help my parents remodel their home and in the process we found all kinds of stuff that my kids thought was a must need at my house.  Well they found Halloween costumes that my brothers and sister and me wore.  My mom made the devil costumes and I think we all wore them so the girls thought they were SO BEAUTIFUL so they had to wear them.  So we got the accessories and the makeup and WALLLAAA!!!  Aren’t they so cute!!!
Kesslee wanted to be a dancer but I told her BUURRRRRRRR!!!!  To cold.  So at the last minute she finally decided to be herself!!~! Very proud of her!!  Those medals aren’t even the beginning of medals that she has!!! She wore them with great Honor!!!

Our friends had a Halloween party and the kids loved it!!   Lots of yummy treats, food and of course decorating!!!  Pumpkins were painted, cupcakes were overly decorated (some were really scary)  treasure hunt and more!!!  Cheers to having great friends for my kids!!!  We really enjoyed ourselves and of course the best part: Adult time!!!!!!!!!!!

Gymnastics

Star Gymnastics started their season starting October 29th and I’m super EXCITED!!!!!  We have been training so hard and I can’t wait to see it pay off!!  I have had so much fun with gymnastics this year!!  I love seeing the excitement that each kid gets when they accomplish something!!!  I truly believe gymnastics is such a good self esteem booster!!  I know it has worked miracles on Kesslee!! I truly appreciate all the support that parents give and the feel of accomplishment I get!!  What a REWARD!!!;

HELLO AGAIN!!

Wow I GUESS its been a WHILE!! I apologize for those that follow my blog. I probably don't have any one now that its been forever. I will update some of what we have been doing. It has been a fun couple years and plus some!! Busy, Busy, Busy!!
Of course there has been birthdays, that our on my other camera that won't let me upload, so I will do that later.
I planned a birthday party for my sister's 40th birthday. We had her go up to hillbilly heaven for a cookout and to her much surprise we all showed up in a carivan with Black balloons on our cars and a coffin in the back of my truck. We all got out and gathered around the back of my truck. We totally ignored my sister as if she was dead. She couldn't figure out at first why we all kept ignoring her. Then my Dad started the services!!
Here is her head stone!
My dad was the Officiator and conducted the funeral
I gave the life history!
Her kids kept singimg the wrong songs and then Misty finally asked for all our help and we sang Happy Birthday!!
The pallbearers carried the coffin to the fire to be burned and to celebrated many more years!!!
After all of it was done, we all went and hugged her! It turned out perfect and so much fun!! What a great time we had!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AMAZING SISTER!!!
Getting Christmas trees is an all time favorite of ours!! It is such a great family outing!!!
The kids on the hill!! We created a great slide!!
We took Uncle J.P. and cousin Jake with us this time!!
The kids made Jake go down their slide with them!!Heres Ashton with our tree. He was pretty proud of himself to help Rhett do the BIG job!
Kesslee Played basketball last year!! She thought it was a lot of fun, but it definatly wasn't the same as gymnastics!! I was proud of her dribbling and shooting!!

BIRTHDAYS!!

I am falling behind. May has been SO crazy!!

I had my brother Brad and his family and my parents staying with me the week of Kesslee's birthday and Ashtons birthday was the following week so we celebrated them together!! It was a lot of fun! We had my sister and her family and my other brother Bryan and his family come over. We enjoyed some sloppy Joes (homemade of course) and sang Happy Birthday! We wouldn't let Ashton have any presents yet, which shockingly he was ok with.

Their Birthday cake! I had to hurry and do this because I lost track of time!! It doesn't look all that great but Kesslee's is the bars, beam, vault and spring floor from gymnastics and Ashtons is a bike!

Kesslee has wanted a Pink Ipod for a very long time. She has an MP3 player, but we can't download music on it anymore! So I was thinking about getting her one of those smaller ones with out a screen, but she wanted one with a screen on it. So her DADDY who is a very softy kind of dad, decided to buy her an Ipod Nano! Ya I know!! Anyways, he didn't want her to be shocked when she opened it so he wrapped up an old pair of her shoes and put it insided them! When she opened them, she rolled her eyes and said "real funny!" I finally convinced her to pick them up. When she did, it feel out! Boy was she ever a happy little girl!!

Telling her dad that she wasn't funny at all!!

Trying to convince her to pick up the shoes!!

Pulling it out!!

Staring at it, because she couldn't beleive what she saw!! She is such a sweet little girl!! I'm so glad to call her mine!

ASHTONS BIRTHDAY

The next Sunday we went over to Rhetts parents and celebrated Ashtons Birthday! We had cupcakes and ice cream.

Kynzee Enjoying her Ice cream!!
Lynzee and Kyler

Ashton and Kamryn

I was trying to convince Kyler to taste the frosting! He wouldn't!

Lynzee being busy! She was taking her ice cream and putting them in the cupcake pan! She was making her own cupcakes!!

Then on Wednesday, Ashton was jumping with Bryson and Kamryn and Kesslee when Rhett rode his bike out onto the lawn! Ashton saw it and jumped off the tramp, threw on his shoes and chased Rhett down so he could ride his new bike! (I don't have a picture for some reason of his new bike. I will get one on here!)

The kids jumping!

THATS MY BIKE DAD!!!!!!!!
Getting his shoes on! It took all my might just to get him to look at me for a picture! He is such a great kid! There is somedays that I get frustrated with him because he is so busy and I have to have a lot of patience with him! But he is definatly worth it! Love ya little man!!

TWIN POWER and LESSONS LEARNED

Apple Cider Vinegar! Awesome Carpet cleaner!

Dawn Dish soap! Awesome Grease cutter!
Bag Balm! Great moisturizer!
Terrible on carpets and girls Hair!!
The other night, Rhett and I were up stairs visiting while the kids were down stairs playing. Pretty soon Kess and Ashton came upstairs and we were talking about old times. Mean while Lynzee and Kynzee are down stairs just laughing while they are playing. After awhile Rhett decided to go check on the girls and as I was getting the older two ready for bed. All of a sudden I hear Rhett yell "Shanna, Hurry and get down here!" So I went running down the stairs to meet him at the bottom holding both the girls.
They had this yellow gooy stuff all over their heads and hands. "What is that?" I ask, as he responds, "You don't want to know!" I looked around the room and the floor was covered along with our couch. Then I see the can sitting there! BAG BALM! I could of been furious, but I started to laugh, and laugh! Poor Kynzee kept saying to me "my hand mama, my hand mama!" As Lynzee is sqeezing her hands together and watching it ooze out of her fingers. I I couldn't help but laugh. I grabbed the girls and went upstairs to do some washing, but of course it doesn't wash at all. It just smears! So I filled the tub, got on the internet to find out how to get it out of the carpet and out of the girls hair! Thank goodness for the internet!

Vinegar is used to get it out of the carpet and to wash the girls hair: you use Dawn dish soap! It worked!! I was so relived. It took a lot of washings to get out of the girls hair, but we are done! And my down stairs still stinks of Vinegar, but the carpet is softer!!
LESSON LEARNED: NEVER PLAY WITH GOOEY STUFF!!
This is Kynzee and her hair standing straight up after a good grease down!
This is the back of Kynzee's Hair! She was MAD!!
After a couple washes with Dawn Dish Soap!
Lynzee's Hair standing every where! She kept saying "GROSS"
Lynzee has natrual curls, but not that curly and poor Kynzee just had a mohawk!
Lessons they learn!!
I want to know how they got the lid off! I have a hard time! But of course, You learn with Twins, they have TWIN POWER!!
